Electric power is provided to Weakley County by the Weakley County Municipal Electric System (WCMES). The power is purchased from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Rate incentives are available for commercial and industrial customers meeting certain criteria. 

Natural gas is distributed in Dresden, Gleason, Greenfield and Sharon by the West Tennessee Public Utilities District. The system is supplied by Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company through 8″, 6″, and 4″ supply lines.
