Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Gleason Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Monday, the 17th day of August, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Gleason City Hall.
The hearing is to receive public for a proposed zoning amendment to rezone properties (Tax Map 127, Parcels 30.08, 30.11, & 30.25 located on Smyth Lane fromB-1 (Neighborhood Business) to R-1 (Low-Density Residential. The properties are owned, respectively by Robert Fuller, Loyd Cunningham, & Cary Lehmkuhl. Full copies of the proposed amendment may be viewed at Gleason City Hall during normal business hours. All interested persons are invited to attend and comment.
Gulf Coast Underground will be cleaning and injecting cured in place pipe into the sewer lines throughout our sewer system that are in need of repair. This will be ongoing for several weeks… you may notice a sewer smell or see steam rising from the ground in areas where this work is being done. This work is detrimental to rehabilitating our sewer system and should improve the functionality of our sewer system greatly when completed.
